This position allows for two days of remote work per week. Duties: Take depositions and argue motions and contested matters in state and federal courts. Participate in training programs with increasing levels of responsibility. Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups and offices. Engage in business development activities to foster client relationships. Work in a small office environment with the resources of a top Am Law 200 firm. Requirements: 3-6 years of experience in litigating bankruptcy, restructuring, and/or creditors’ rights matters. Strong working knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code, local rules, UCC, and secured transactions. Significant experience in motions practice, contested matters, and adversary proceedings. Ability to think quickly and perform well under pressure in court. Proficiency in conducting and assisting in the preparation of depositions. Excellent research and writing skills. Team player with demonstrated ability to excel in a collaborative environment. Interest in developing and implementing relationship-building skills internally and externally. Prior experience working with diverse cultures and backgrounds. Highly motivated, self-starter with the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
