Job Description

Mercedes-Benz of Gilbert is a luxury brand automotive dealership. We are family owned and operated. We have an opening in our business office for a full-time AP/AR Clerk. Applicants must have prior auto dealership AP experience. Experience with CDK is preferred, but not required. Individual must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties include, but are not limited to: Accounts Payable

• Post accounts payable invoices
• Reconcile monthly factory statements for dealership
• Reconcile corporate credit card statement monthly
• Assist in monthly closing Process
• Reconcile gas card bills
• Prepare accounts payable checks daily and monthly
• Reconcile vendor statements and run batch checks
• Reconcile and clean schedules
• Issue refund checks for parts returns
• Orders dealership supplies to include paper, ink cartridges, etc.
• Ensure expenses are posted in proper period and to the proper account
• Ensure vendor payments are timely and accurate
• Maintain W-9 records and issue annual 1099 forms

Accounts Receivable

• Prepare monthly Accounts Receivable statements
• Posts accounts receivable payments
• Calls on past due receivable accounts to attempt to collect outstanding balances
• Reconcile and post daily parts, service and sales deposits
